Girls' Brigade
The 1st Hinckley Girls’ Brigade was started in 1969, and today we have approximately 40 girls aged 5 upwards. We meet at Hinckley Baptist Church on Monday nights.
Explorers, Juniors and Seniors sections from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm and Brigaders and Young Leaders from 7.30 pm to 9.15 pm.
We cover a four part badge syllabus each year within each section. This involves Physical, Educational, Spiritual and Service activities and we also run a Duke of Edinburgh programme.
We have a Company Camp each year and join in Leicestershire District events such as socials and competitions.
We aim to introduce Jesus and his teachings to the girls in ways which encourages them to accept for themselves his Lordship. We are a friendly and fun-loving Company and would love to hear from anyone wanting to join us.
