SALT (Sharing and Learning Together)
God loves children and as a church family we enjoy the responsibility and privilege of looking after them and teaching them about Him. Our aim is helping to equip them for the rest of their lives as God’s Children - created, chosen, adopted, forgiven and made new in Him
In order to meet the different needs, we have age based groups – Sunbeams (0 – 4), Sparklers (4- 7), Trailblazers (7-11), TC’s And Exodus (11 – 18) who meet each week apart from the 2nd Sunday in the month when we have a Parade service joining with Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades or a 5th Sunday when we have Family worship.
Within each department we create opportunities so that each child learns to recognise God’s voice and knows how to respond to it.
- Through Praise we learn to live with Him as King of our lives.
- We live lives full of His Holy Spirit, and learn to pray and rely on God.
- We get to know God better through His word
- We have fun and encourage each other and enjoy our time together.
- We learn how to tell our friends about Jesus.

Trailblazers
This area of the children’s ministry is active and growing. The Trailblazers are a group of 7-11 year olds who have fun learning together, praying together, exploring the Bible together and getting to understand what it means to walk with the Lord.
At HBC we believe every child is precious in the sight of God and that they can fulfil their role as a member of the body of Christ in the church
