100 unchurched 11-18 year-olds at Cyber Café, 30 girls and 35 lads of 11-18 in Brigades, a youth cell group ready to grow, a community centre starting to reach out. . . and that’s just Monday - Friday!

Salary: £16,500-18,000 (plus a furnished flat)

A Baptist church in the centre of Hinckley, Leicestershire, we are blessed by the numbers of young people who use the church and community facilities every week. There are several established youth organisations run by volunteers within the church. The successful applicant will work alongside these, with a particular emphasis on building relationships with the young people. There will also be opportunity to be involved in Sunday services, community engagement (eg the Prince’s Trust uses our premises) and linking up with other churches and schools in Hinckley. It is important that you can work as part of a team and on your own. We will share our vision for the young people of Hinckley and also encourage you to explore your own gifts and develop further ministries as God leads.
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for this post to be filled by a committed Christian.
